Knowledge & Innovation
Knowledge and innovation both are the different issues but
related to each other. Without knowledge we can’t innovate or without
application our knowledge is meaningless. In simple term innovation is the
application of knowledge. I have one example regarding this.
Once a bird asked to
Bee, “after constant hard work
You prepare honey,
but man come and steals it.
Do you not feel sad?
Wonderful reply by
Bee Never because only thing that man can do
To steals my honey
not the art of making honey.
It means man have knowledge about how to extract honey but
haven’t ability to produce it. Here the moral obtained that anyone can copy
your creation but no one can copy your talent. As per the above statement that
is “Innovation is the application of the knowledge.” I remember one interesting
example from movie 3 Idiots in that Amir Khan applied one theory of electricity
(salt is the good conductor of electricity). He knows about theory that is his
knowledge, but the application of same in practical life that is his invention.
There are lots of examples in our day to day life that we have been learning
theoretically but we don’t try to use it in our day to day life. So we have to
learn this application process of knowledge that time we can innovate something
different otherwise our knowledge is meaningless.
