Indeed generally people used to watch Youtube only because time pass and Entertainment. But a teen from Navi – Mumbai Named as Prem Thakur is not the one who used to watch YouTube for above purpose. He just built his own car ( BuggyCar ) with the help of YouTube.
Prem Thakur has no background in Engineering. He is Commerce student. And this 19 years old is a proud son of Auto Rickshaw driver. But all this didn’t stop his to build this own buggy car. His father who is Auto Rickshaw driver didn’t hesitate to spend 2.5 Lakhs on his son’s dream project. He spent entire his life savings on this project.
My father got me a computer when I was 12 years old. Since then, I have used the internet to learn all sorts of things, including how to make a buggy car by myself,” says Prem.
Prem Thakur, who is crazy about vintage cars and sports cars, then watched videos on YouTube Channel ( Do-It-Yourself videos ) to learn how to create the car. “There are different videos that show how a car is made. I got the idea and started getting parts for it,” added Prem.
It took 4 months for him to design a outer layer of his buggycar and to do all welding works and even he painted by his own.
Sandhya, Prem thakur’s mother said she was very happy that he created a car at such a young age. “Since childhood he was crazy about only making things by his own. His school teachers would appreciate his projects.” Prem Thakur saved Rs.50000 by driving his fathers Auto rickshaw at night and he spent this amount on his dream project. While his father’s income is only Rs.500-600 a day.
