Why Sunday? We (wife & Me) are returning to home from our office. We were on bike and she was wishing to eat fish curry. It was 7:30 pm so not possible to buy fish and make curry because we both are tired due to full-day work. Hence I suggest to her that we can go to the restaurant suddenly she reply “no on Sunday we will go.” So I told her do you want to eat fish curry or Sunday fish curry? Jocks a part but it’s a very serious drama that we are playing with our life. We (corporate people) only live our life on Sunday. Meanwhile, we are just behaving like slaves (paid slaves). If you take it mathematically then in a month 4 days it means 48 days in a year. Ok, let’s make it round figure 50 alright. In 365 days we can live only 50 days. Seriously we made our life around Sunday itself why? Why Sunday? I love Sunday because it’s the breaker of our working speed. It gives some rest from the daily working schedule but it doesn’t mean that only this day I can fulfill my wishes & hobbies. Don’t keep the barrier of Sunday in between you and your wishes & hobbies. Make breath your life freely every day.

Meet Peeqo, The Adorable Robot That Communicates Entirely Through GIFs & Was Built By An Indian Inventor.

We as human beings have always been insecure when it comes to robots replacing us and stealing our jobs. In some case that is true and for good reason, but for every robot that manufactures your car, there is a cute little robot out there that just wants to make you smile.

Peeqo, is a robot which is capable of responding to your voice and can react/reply entirely in GIFs. It is one of the few bots that is a desk companion which is meant to entertain you or even make you feel loved. What’s even more surprising is that Abhishek Singh, an inventor and innovator who has been experimenting with artificial intelligence and robotics for a very long time, built this robot.

After the robot got some ridiculously positive feedback from Reddit and Imgur users, Singh posted a video on YouTube explaining how he managed to build this robot and what it is capable of.

Domino's Has Started Delivering Pizzas Using Drones in New Zealand.

Domino’s has been planning to deliver pizzas by drones since August and they have made it a reality as of yesterday for all couch potatoes. Domino’s has partnered up with a start-up called Flirtey and the company has started delivering pizza orders in New Zealand.

Flirtey developed the drones especially for Domino’s, which is made up of carbon fibre, aluminium and other components that make it light and sturdy enough to carry a Pizza box. The drones have a tether, which is used to drop down the pizza box to their customers.

What’s impressive is that the drone is capable of heading back to the home base or a different location autonomously i.e. it doesn’t need to be controlled by a human being. This is possible thanks to the GPS system installed on the drone and it is also capable of getting itself home in case the battery is low or there is any form of GPS failure.

Domino’s wants to achieve a delivery time of less than 10 minutes thanks to these drones and is planning to expand this concept to other countries. Of course, in India, it seems like a far-fetched idea thanks to restrictions on flying unmanned aircraft from commercial purposes still exists.  Nevertheless, I still like the idea that my Pepperoni Pizza can be delivered by a flying robot in less than 10 minutes.

Mumbai-Born Brothers Sell Ad-Tech Venture To Chinese Investors For A Whopping $900 Million.

Two Mumbai-bred siblings turned billionaires on Monday when they sold their advertising technology startup to Chinese investors for $900 million. The 34-year-old Divyank Turakhia and his older brother Bhavin, 36, who grew up in the suburbs of Juhu and Andheri and turned web entrepreneurs in their teens struck an all-cash deal to divest their company Media.net, merging it with the China-listed Beijing Miteno Communication Technology. This makes it one of the largest M&As in the ad tech industry beating Google's $750 million acquisition of AdMob and Twitter's MoPub purchase for $350 million.

What's noteworthy is that while most ad tech firm are struggling globally, including Media.net's home grown rival InMobi, which is backed by Softbank Corp, the Turakhia brothers have been able to pull off this transaction amid an overall slowing market. The payout for the brothers from the deal may be staggered, people familiar with the details of the acquisition said.

The younger Divyank who runs Media.net will continue to steer it post the buyout while Bhavin, 36, will manage the Mumbaiheadquartered Directi, which operates four startups in the web communications and payments space. This is not the first exit for the Turakhia brothers, who had in 2014 sold Directi's domain registration businesses like BigRock, LogicBoxes and Reseller Club, for $160 million to NASDAQ-listed Endurance International Group.
Founded six years ago, Media.net is based jointly in Dubai and New York, providing technology backbone to contextual advertising offered by likes of Yahoo and Microsoft. It clocked about $230 million in revenue last year. "The businesses we manage are worth $1.4 billion after today's transaction," Divyank said over the phone from the US. A non-resident Indian, he is based in Dubai and admits to being passionate about flying and scuba diving. The Media.net acquisition is a two-staged one. In the first leg, Beijing Miteno Communications chairman Zhang Zhiyong will lead a consortium of investors to buy Media.net and acquirers would later effect a reverse merger with Zhiyong's publicly traded firm.

Divyank and Bhavin attended Arya Vidya Mandir school in Bandra, and have rolled out 11 startups under the Directi umbrella till now. They started helping Indian companies build websites and intranet services in late 1990s. Divyank went to Narsee Monjee while Bhavin finished his undergraduate studies from Sydenham college. "We enrolled for BCom but never really attended college. It was not required. You would get distinction if you attended exams," Divyank said reminiscing about the days when they mixed entrepreneurship with studies. A person who has seen the brothers closely said they are brilliant coders who don't have an engineering degree. "They've learned everything including how to code themselves," the person said.

"Media.net gets 90% of its revenue from the US market and the remaining from Canada and UK. China is the second biggest online advertising market and the fastest growing. This deal gives us an opportunity to build a growth story there," Divyank said.

Knowledge & Innovation
Knowledge and innovation both are the different issues but related to each other. Without knowledge we can’t innovate or without application our knowledge is meaningless. In simple term innovation is the application of knowledge. I have one example regarding this.
Once a bird asked to Bee, “after constant hard work
You prepare honey, but man come and steals it.
Do you not feel sad?
Wonderful reply by Bee Never because only thing that man can do
To steals my honey not the art of making honey.
It means man have knowledge about how to extract honey but haven’t ability to produce it. Here the moral obtained that anyone can copy your creation but no one can copy your talent. As per the above statement that is “Innovation is the application of the knowledge.” I remember one interesting example from movie 3 Idiots in that Amir Khan applied one theory of electricity (salt is the good conductor of electricity). He knows about theory that is his knowledge, but the application of same in practical life that is his invention. There are lots of examples in our day to day life that we have been learning theoretically but we don’t try to use it in our day to day life. So we have to learn this application process of knowledge that time we can innovate something different otherwise our knowledge is meaningless.
